Course description:

P3O® Practitioner is a course to consolidate and extend Foundation knowledge so candidates would be well prepared to take P3O Practitioner exam.

Goals: 

The training is focused on full understanding of how P3O operates and how it is implemented. Plus preparing the candidates to the Practitioner level exam.

Target group: 

The course is dedicated for:

  • all participating in portfolio definition and delivery
  • all who establish and implement the standards of portfolio, programme and project management
  • all who work for portfolio, programme and project offices
  • programme and project team members
  • business change consultants and experts
  • senior managers.
     

Pre-requisites:

P3O knowledge at the Foundation level is needed. The P3O Foundation level exam already passed is a must.
General knowledge of project, programme and portfolio management will be helpful in mastering P3O Practitioner level skills.

Duration: 1 day
 

Comments:

The P3O Practitioner exam is usually delivered during the next day after the training. Alternatively it may be planned on any agreed day after the course.

  • P3O® Practitioner examination (2½ h + administrative actions)

 

Exam details:

P3O Practitioner tests candidate's understanding of P3O concept. It is realized through a specific scenario related to P3O implementation and operation in an organization delivering programmes and projects in the portfolio. There are multiple choice, multiple response, matching and assertion-reason types of questions. The style of P3O Practitioner exam is similar to the style PRINCE2 Practitioner.
This is a 2½ hour exam composed of 7 group of questions. You may get maximum of 70 marks. 40 marks must be achieved to pass.
